National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28th February every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman in 1928. The day is celebrated to mark the significance of science and its role in shaping our lives.
On this day, various science-based activities, seminars, and workshops are organized by schools, colleges, universities, and other scientific institutions to promote scientific temper and inspire young minds to pursue a career in science.
Similarly, our college celebrates National Science Day with many exciting programs. Students perform different experiments and they go up to three college floors. We celebrated Global Science for Global Wellbeing, which was the theme for 2023 science day.
I was given duty for arrangements of tables and exhibits on different floors. Also, I was part of 3D film room. I helped in arranging and making of 3D glasses required. I learnt video editing and concept of 3D film in this process. I also handled the photography duty during the official program.
